Meet Antonina Petkovic, Our Spring Issue Cover Star
When it came time to present some of the freshest spring style ideas, it’s only natural that we wanted help from a formidable force in fashion. Enter: Antonina Petkovic.
The Serbian model is someone whose face is super familiar if you follow the runways of the four biggest Fashion Weeks in the world (New York, London, Milan, and Paris, of course) or the cover of international fashion publications, including those of Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. Now, in Who What Wear’s Spring Issue, we teamed with Petkovic to showcase the most feel-good trends of the season—literally and figuratively—including fringe, ruching, and crystals galore.
“My favorite trend from the shoot would definitely be feathers,” the model told us after. As some who describes her own approach to spring style as “playful, fresh, and comfortable” she also told us that she appreciated the versatility of a trend that’s wearable, including outside the photo studio. “It seems fresh, and you can combine it with casual clothes so it gives you a really cool look.”
While Petkovic’s no newcomer—she’s been working since being discovered in a modeling contest in 2011—her star is still on the rise. And since she’s such an international sensation, we didn’t pass up the chance to ask her which city is truly the tops when it comes to fashion. “In my opinion, the best street style is in Copenhagen,” she tells us. “People there always look so cool and effortless, especially on their bikes riding around the city. I love how they mix different colors and patterns and they always have amazing pieces of jewelry.”
See more of Petkovic shine in Who What Wear’s Spring Issue feature on the most of-the-moment trends that bring on all the feels.
