Fashion's biggest event of the year, the Met Gala, has begun! And of course one of the very first people on the red carpet is Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour (who is also co-chair of the event). For tonight's Manus x Machina–themed soirée, Wintour chose a floor-length white Chanel dress from the French fashion house's S/S 16 Couture collection. The intricate sheath featured macramé-esque details on the bodice and fringed sleeves, a nod to the past with a modern twist. Scroll to see Wintour's Met Gala look, and shop dresses inspired by her style!
