Hermès might have a new It item on its hands, and no, it isn't a handbag or even a pair of shoes—it's a T-shirt. As you're probably aware, designer graphic tees are a thing, despite how expensive they may be (for example, Gucci sells them for close to $1K). Hermès showed its S/S 18 in Paris today, and as to be expected, it was filled with timeless, tailored pieces, luxe leather accessories, and the iconic prints the brand is known for. Thrown into the mix was the aforementioned graphic tee, a simple cap-sleeve white T-shirt with the most Hermès phrase you could imagine: Grand Manège, referring to the riding arena at the French National Riding School. Many of the heritage brand's beautiful silk scarves feature designs reminiscent of the arena, and given its love of all things equestrian, we couldn't think of a better graphic tee for Hermès to get in on the trend.
Below, see the T-shirt that could be the next It Hermès item, straight from the runway today, along with the S/S 18 collection in its entirety.
