If you missed out on Nike's recently released rose-gold Air Max Thea sneakers (which were, sadly, quick to sell out), you're in luck, as Adidas is also getting in on the rose-gold action. The brand just gave its ultra-popular Stan Smith sneakers a major fashion-girl update by releasing a shiny copper iteration. And, as if that wasn't enough, they're the comfortable Boost style, which features a softer midsole, and they also come in silver.
Even though the metallic sneakers were just released, they're already selling out on Adidas's e-comm site and on Farfetch. If you act fast, nearly every size is still available on Urban Outfitters (although probably not for long). Adidas last released a pair of rose-gold Stan Smiths in 2015, so we have a feeling that the brand won't continue to stock this pretty hue.
If you love rose gold but feel intimidated by the prospect of wearing such flashy metallic kicks, there's no time like the present to invest in a pair. A slew of sneaker brands have been adding more and more metallic styles to their lineups, and spring and summer are the perfect time to switch out winter's darker-colored sneakers for something a little more fun.
