Celine Original Sunglasses ($340, 212.941.9656)
If you want to see a fashion fanatic start frothing at the mouth, all you have to do is mention Celine's new sunglasses and watch the mania take hold. Already a favorite for celebs like Kate Bosworth, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sienna Miller, these are the hottest shades to come out in ages. Part of the reason for the extreme frenzy is due to their extremely limited availability: we suggest calling Kirna Zabete's Soho store (number above) and get yourself on the wait list now. Their stock is due to arrive in two weeks and is sure to fly out of the store!
Bulgari B.Zero1 Ring ($890)
We don't showcase a great deal of fine jewelry on WhoWhatWear.com, so know that when we do, it's for an excellent reason. Case in point: this insanely gorgeous ring from Bulgari. We adore the contrast of the black ceramic bands with the 18k pink gold-it's the perfect combination of industrial toughness and refined femininity. It's equally appropriate for work or play, so feel free to wear it with just about anything you own. Basically this ring is the sort of essential that you're sure to wear for a wide range of occasions for many, many, many years to come, so put it on your must-have list!
Reed Krakoff Boxer I Tote ($1090)
As the president and executive creative director of Coach, Reed Krakoff certainly understands what it takes to create a desirable leather bag. The mastery of this knowledge is clearly demonstrated in his eponymous line, which features some of the most gorgeous accessories we've seen lately. The designer's Boxer Tote definitely tops our most-covetable list right now; we are mad about its elegant belt-like details and classic boxy shape. The bag is gorgeous in light brown suede and leather, as shown here, or you can go for one of the many other versions, which range from the simple (basic black leather) to the super luxurious (felt and alligator).
The Row Wexler Skirt ($690)
It's difficult to resist The Row's expertly crafted collection of wardrobe essentials, especially a perfect piece like this almost-maxi skirt. The ankle-revealing rounded hem makes the long, full skirt look modern and completely unidentifiable-two things you definitely want when you're investing in a staple. Though it was shown on The Row's runway with a black Silk Crepe Blouse ($890) and strappy flat thong sandals, the wool-blend skirt will also look amazing with ankle boots and a prim button-up blouse for a high-impact minimalist look.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer ($18) in Extravagant Night
We'll be frank: we're not usually interested in glittery nail polish. That said, there's something about this shimmering shade from Estee Lauder that we totally love. The dark violet hue is spot-on for fall, plus it makes the polish's hint o' glitz feel chic, not childish. And, as an additional bonus, we think the bottle is just so cute. Snap up this limited-edition shade now; we have a feeling it won't be in stock much longer!
House of Harlow 1960 Dyson Suede Platform Boots ($260) in Chocolate
Stores are stuffed with fall footwear right now, but how do you choose which ones to get? For us, it's simple: House of Harlow 1960's Dyson Boots are simply it! They have a stacked platform and heel, plus the wraparound ankle cord and toggle closure gives them an awesome vintage look. While we prefer this rich chocolate brown suede, they're also available in black, so be sure to check out both!
Madewell Metallic Oversized-Plaid Cardi ($125)
The whole Madewell's-got-e-commerce thing is really working out for us. It's been months since the brand officially opened for web business and we can't stop shopping the site! Who could blame us when there cozy cardigans like this one available for purchase? At first glance, we fell for its excellent oversized shape, but we also appreciate the sweater's subtle metallic touches too; it adds just a touch of neutral sheen that's oh-so stylish!
The ELLEments of Personal Style ($30) by Joe Zee and Maggie Bullock
If you only purchase one item this month, make it this book. You will truly enjoy it, and we're not just saying that because we're former ELLE editors (and by "we" we mean KP +HK). The book-which showcases 25 fashion icons' closets and breaks down the secrets of their personal style-is truly a joy to look at and read. Plus, it's packed with gorgeous photos and interesting tidbits from fashion heavyweights like Erin Wasson, Diane von Furstenberg, and two key Charlottes: Gainsbourg and Rampling. Basically, it's the must-buy of all must-buys!
