Congratulations, dear readers, you made it though the first week of the New Year! As you wrap up your abbreviated workweek, we have a little What Was She Wearing: Answers to entertain you while you log in your necessary, office face time.
While Keri Russell's eyes stayed on the court at a recent Knicks game, all of your eyes were on her. To specify, dear readers, your visual attention was focused on her scarf. The lovely, thin, knit neck-warmer is by the renowned French scarf-maker, Epice. Ms. Russell purchased her black-and-white print version at Bird in Brooklyn, but sadly they're sold out. We know that Presse in LA had a few similar styles left ($289) and they're getting the new spring scarves next month. Try them at 323.937.1560 or visit the store in Los Angeles at 326 S. La Brea!
We are pleased to respond to your cross-examination about the awesome purse Sienna Miller has been toting as of late. Seen here leaving her London home with Exhibit A, we can report that Sienna is in proud possession of a top-zip Alice handbag from Luella Bartley's fall collection. Though it is not yet listed, the Alice will be available for purchase online shortly ($795), but those of you luckies in London have the option of swinging by the boutique now (25 Brook Street London W1K 4HB). If you simply can't wait, there are a plethora of other great Luella bags available online now, such as the Bernie Bowling bag ($890). Before we rest, we are happy, as always, to provide you with a less-expensive option. Try the Ruffle Detail Bowling Bag by ASOS, it's a swell stand-in ($44).
It's been a while since we've featured Hilary Duff on our site, but we recently acquired a mass of questions about a particular outfit she wore for a night out at Butter in Manhattan. Beginning with her top, Duff kept the foundation of her attire basic with Calvin Klein's Mix Essential Ribbed Tank ($16), paired with a Long Cashmere Cardigan ($290) by Vince in a corresponding black shade. She then served as yet another celebrity testimony to the J Brand phenomenon (Vanessa Hudgens, Katie Holmes, Jessica Alba) by sporting a pair of J Brand jeans in 910 Ink ($158). Duff slipped into some glamorous heels by Ruthie Davis, and while the Crystal Screen Mary Janes are no longer available in gold, they are available in both black and white patent leather ($650). No night on the town is complete without a handbag with some sheen, Duff picked Dolce & Gabbana's Large Satchel as a perfect finishing touch ($1100). For a budget-conscious option, we love the similar style of Betsey Johnson's Loop De Loop Bowling Bag ($353.95).
Without fail, our inboxes receive a surplus of Lauren Conrad inquiries the morning after a newly aired episode of The Hills. As such, we weren't surprised by the huge wave of requests for information about Conrad's outfit after the season finale wrap party in Hollywood. To answer the sea of questions, LC wore a sweet, satin and chiffon frock by Alice + Olivia. The Bustier Drape Dress ($396) features halter straps and a bubble hem, and is available in black or grey, as worn by Conrad. Though you can't see it in this image, Conrad carried a bag of her very own design-the LC Tote in black ($350). Also available in Dark Olive and Espresso, the bag is part of the Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle's collection and it is available exclusively at LPCollection.com. Finally, Lauren finished her outfit off by slipping on a simple pair of shoes, in this case, the Smooth Metallic Sandal by the beloved Jimmy Choo ($490).-Jessica Amento and Allison Wood (additional reporting by Lily Huber and Cory Goldstein)
