Thanksgiving is only a week way, so in the spirit of this oh-so yummy holiday, we're serving up a supersized portion of something you're sure to love: wardrobe inspiration! That's right, today we're debuting our new, larger-than-usual What Was She Wearing: Answers!, which now showcases five of your most requested celebrity-wardrobe queries. As always, we've gathered the outfit IDs for your favorite rising stars, super stylists, and top trendsetters, so if you feel like indulging, we say dig in! After all, a shopping coma is definitely preferable to one that's induced by mashed potatoes, right?
Of all the super-chic stylists in the world, Caroline Sieber has to be one of our favorites, so we were more than thrilled to see that you also adore her classic and sophisticated tastes. The London-based beauty is always incredibly turned out in the season's highest fashion, and last week's appearance at the art exhibition Dior Illustrated: Rene Gruau and The Line of Beauty at the Somerset House in London was no exception to that rule. Sieber looked ravishing in a sheer blue Dior dress layered over Wolford's strapless Opaque Natural Light Forming Dress ($295) in Natural. To accent the peek-a-boo frock, she added equally delicate shoes, specifically a pair of beaded lace peep-toe ankle booties, also by Dior. For all of you daring dressers out there, we suggest trying this look for your next cocktail soiree. All you have to do is pick up Montmarte's Shirtdress ($84) in Eucalyptus Leaf and lace ankle boots like Aldo's Dimick Heels ($70) or Via Spiga's Evanna Lace Booties ($250). We promise you'll turn heads!
If we've learned anything from your most recent ensemble inquiries, it's that you're head-over-heels for Nicky Hilton's outwear selections. The jewelry designer--who was photographed while running errands in Beverly Hills late last month--embraced the season's chunky-knit trend with We The Free's Navajo Cardigan ($168), which she styled with a pair of gray H&M leggings. (Her Southwestern-inspired print pick is both versatile and very popular; similar patterns are turning up on everything from bags to shoes to ponchos right now.) To round out this cool-weathered outfit, Hilton added a pair of Ray-Ban Aviator Large Metal Sunglasses ($139), TOD's Boots ($675, 800.457.TODS), and a vibrant, two-tone blue Balenciaga bag. Want to emulate Hilton's outdoorsy ensemble? You can't go wrong with her exact cardigan, but also be sure to check out ASOS' Square Patterned Blanket Wrap ($73) and Forever 21's Wintery Snowflake Cardigan ($28): both are solid, super-affordable options. As for the rest of her look, we suggest trying Nine West's Korvino Lace-Up Heeled Boots ($242) and Coach's Poppy Leather Large Rocker Bag ($398) in Cobalt; these pieces will look amazing with the above-mentioned sweaters and your favorite gray skinnies!
Lately Kelly Osbourne's been showing off her amazing new figure in playful party dresses, and while you love those looks, you wanted to know about her flawless winter-wear most of all. While out and about in New York last week, Osbourne bundled up in a Chloe Wool Leger Coat ($1780, 323.602.0000) and a cozy Maison Martin Margiela fringe scarf in a classic flannel print. Both picks are essential if you're going to brave the chilly weather, so if you plan on emulating her look, make sure you pick up BB Dakota's Riberton Jacket ($120) and Charter Club's Chenille Traditional Plaid Scarf ($26), which comes in a variety of great colors. Then all you need to finish the look is a pair of cat-eye sunglasses; splurge with Osbourne's exact Tom Ford's Nikita Cat Eye Sunglasses ($360) or save with Fred Flare's Bridget Sunglasses ($11). Either style is a spot-on choice!
With recurring roles on hit TV series like Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men, it's no wonder Nora Zehetner has earned a top spot on your one-to-watch list. But her acting prowess isn't the only thing you find captivating; she's got noteworthy personal style too. You were specifically smitten with the clever mix of gray hues--a Marni shirt, Isabel Marant coat, Calvin Klein X Jeans ($100) in Black Abraded, and Calvin Klein Collection Booties ($995, 212.292.9000) from Resort 11--Zehetner chose for The Cinema Society and DKNY Jeans Due Date afterparty in New York earlier this month. Her muted-color combo makes for a perfect winter ensemble, and fortunately imitating this look is a breeze! Start with a charcoal coat like Urban Outfitters' Cocoon Coat ($99) or BB Dakota's Quinn Boucle Coat ($120). Next, pick up Forever 21's Washed 5-Pocket Signature Skinny Jeans ($25) and a pair of gray ankle boots, like Tibi Rita's Booties ($255) or Charlotte Russe's Distressed Belted Booties ($43). Best of all: you can wear these gorgeous gray pieces separately throughout the season or together for the perfect Zehetner-inspired outfit.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's star is certainly on the rise! The British beauty is everywhere these days, from Burberry's F/W 10 ad campaign to the 2010 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (tune in November 30th) to the highly anticipated blockbuster Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which is due out next July. And although we could go on for days about her ever-expanding resume, Huntington-Whiteley caught your attention for another reason: her off-duty style! She was spotted last month shopping in Soho wearing one of fall's most covetable pieces: a chunky-knit cardigan. She styled her Isabel Marant sweater (Topshop's Tweed Mix Buckle Front Cape Style Cardigan ($90) is a must-have alternative) with an olive green tank by The Reformation, R13's Legging Jeans ($310) in Wash Black, and tan Christian Louboutin boots. Finally, Huntington-Whiteley accessorized with a suede vintage floppy hat and a gray Burberry shoulder bag. Since this outfit is really all about the accessories, we suggest concentrating on these pieces to help you recreate the look; Catarzi's Felt Floppy Hat ($47), Ciao Bella's Tori Riding Boots ($179), and Parentesi's Large Leather Bag ($264) all make excellent alternatives.--Jessica Baker
