Wondering What to Wear to Coachella in Your 30s? I Got You

You heard it from me first: You are never too old for a trip to the desert to watch your favorite artists perform. I'm always helping my friends with outfit ideas, and I have a friend attending who's in her mid-30s. Lately, she's been asking me for help with what to wear, and as always, I'm happy to oblige. While she was focused on more "age-appropriate” styles, I convinced her to let loose and go for any risky fashion moment that inspires her.

I ended up suggesting a wide variety of outfit ideas that are anywhere between daring and super safe choices. It's nice to pack options depending on your mood upon arrival. As long as you wear something that makes you feel confident and is true to your personal style, you're guaranteed to have a good time. Below, find 10 outfits that I suggest considering for your trip to Coachella.

I'm calling this look the definition of grown-up Coachella style. The best part is you can wear the fringe dress on its own during the day and throw the blazer on top when it cools down at night. Finished off with a pair of strappy sandals, it's a versatile look that can transition seamlessly from day to night.

A glamorous maxi dress will be sure to make a statement. While someone might initially consider it for a special occasion, just add sneakers and you can dance all night in it. The best part is you can pull it out of your closet again for wedding season.
