Oh Kelly Osborne, my how you’ve changed. It seems like just yesterday you were slumping around your parents’ home in LA, doing the sloppy punk thing, and now you’re quite polished and chic! Perhaps it was the relocation to London—certainly a more sophisticated town than Hollywood—or maybe the style progression can simply be attributed to growing up (shocking, we know), but one thing is clear: the girl looks good.
Since Osbourne’s been under the radar (in America, at least) for the past few years, we’ll start by running through her current fashion dossier. These days Osbourne’s taste tends to run towards the monochromatic (black, white, gray) and minimalist side of things; she’s mostly ditched the shock rock look and favors clean silhouettes and straightforward vintage shapes instead. Seen above leaving lunch at the Ivy in West Hollywood, Osbourne almost looks almost romantically lady-like at first glance. But if you look again, you’ll notice that while her white fifties-style frock is sweet, she’s added edge with a bold black Chanel chapeau, an eighties-influenced pair of oversized pinky purple pair of sunglasses, and a studded long-strap bag. To complete the snapshot of Osbourne’s overall style profile, we must add that she is very supportive of British designers and can often be found in Jonathan Kelsey shoes, Luella outfits, or in the front row at Vivienne Westwood’s shows. We also can confidently say that while Osbourne’s closet is stocked with enough little black pieces to satisfy even Siouxsie Sioux’s stylist, a few patterns, like ditsy florals and strong stripes, do make it into her daily mix.
Bearing all of this in mind, we sought to assemble an outfit with the right blend of edge and elegance. We found a snug jacket with a fashion-forward peplum shape (cut from a traditional tartan, nonetheless) at one of our favorite UK destinations—Topshop! Since we still get glimpses of the rebellious spirit that first made Osbourne famous, we added a unique rhinestone-encrusted talon ring by Made Her Think and an ode-to-New York graphic t-shirt dress. Our final Osbourne-inspired touches: retro sunglasses, fuss-free black loafers, a black-and-white beret, and the newest Chloe bag to finish the entire look.
1. Karen Walker
Trixie Sunglasses ($170)
These snowy shades look like they could be an excellent vintage find, but they’re as modern as our muse. We like their fifties shape and the white frame will contrast nicely with Osbourne’s inky hair.
2. Passarella Death Squad
New York T-Shirt Dress ($158)
As a rock royalty daughter, we figured that Osbourne would embrace this oddly awesome t-shirt dress. It’s from Passarella Death Squad, a line created by two British designers, so it would appeal to Osbourne’s national pride as well!
3. Chloe
Boudior Chain Bag
($1360)
Osbourne has an affinity for luxury bags (she carries a Chanel 2.55 often and is newly devoted to her gold YSL
Besace Messenger Bag
) so we added this new-for-the-season pouch bag by Chloe. The extra long chain strap makes it fresh while the shape and shade seem as though they were pulled from the past.
4. Topshop
Tartan Peplum Jacket ($100)
Leave it to Topshop to come up with a perfectly on-point plaid jacket at a recession-friendly price. The peplum shape is huge for fall and this piece looks like it could have been nicked from any number of the season’s runways.
5. Made Her Think
Talon Ring with Crystals ($110)
The witchy wonderfulness of the Talon Ring is so Osbournesque we just had to include it in this story. The gunmetal talon extends over two fingers and is also available in antique gold.
6. Helene Berman
Bow Beret ($60)
Osbourne’s got a soft spot for vintage accents and this wool knit bow beret looks like something she’d love. Available in purple with a black bow or black with a white bow, the sweet cap is a great contrast to our muse’s sharp haircut.
7. Forever 21
Ducky Wingtip Loafers ($24.80)
Osbourne wears some subversive preppy styles, so we think she’d like these menswear-style wingtip loafers. The black patent leather gives them a dressy air and the laceless style is an interesting touch.

I do like the dress, but because she's so pale I think that if the shoes and sunglasses were a brighter color, it would be perfect. cuz right now the shoes are almost blending in with her skin.
