Have you been wondering about the sparkly skirt Rachel Bilson’s recently wore on TRL? Want to know everything about Natalie Portman’s fire engine red shoes? Hungry for Sienna’s bag du jour? In today’s bimonthly edition of What Was She Wearing: Answers! we’ve got all the details and more.
Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller makes her first WWSW appearance this year, courtesy of reader curiosity over two fantastic wardrobe pieces she wore at LAX earlier this month. The first item that appealed to you, dear readers, was Miller’s Juicy Couture
Long Sleeve Striped Cardigan ($104), which is not only a swell sweater for jet setters, but also an excellent wardrobe staple. The second item you honed in on is the delicious arm candy Miller was carrying. Her Zufi Alexander
Kiss Me Baby handbag is from the designer’s Glory Collection and has been spotted in the hands of many other celebs as well, including Katherine Heigl ($1250,
Katherine Tess, 516.621.0955).
Rachel Bilson
In early February, Rachel Bilson appeared on TRL and moments later our lovely readers flooded us with questions (and compliments) about her professional chic ensemble. It delights us to inform you that Jenni Kayne is the mastermind behind Bilson’s Short Sleeve Cotton Pocket Shirt ($325) and Marled Charcoal Beaded Tuck Mini Skirt ($495). You can buy them now at any Jenni Kayne store, just check the designer’s
website for locations or ring the LA store (310.860.0123). Miss Bilson finished her outfit off, unsurprisingly, with the ever-reliable, classic Christian Louboutin
Simple 85 Pumps
($520). Try the
Ash Tiffany Hidden Platform Pump

by Ash for a similarly shaped shoe ($165).
Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman, a beautiful newcomer to WWSW, was inspiring in both her actions and outfit at the launch of her vegan footwear collection for Te Casan in NYC earlier this month. Portman wore a style of shoe from her own line, naturally, and her red, faux-patent Mary Janes, a.k.a. the
Pippa Heel, is currently available for preorder ($265). The actress also wore Derek Lam’s Animal Spot Print Georgette One Piece ($1490), which is currently in stock at Kirna Zabete (212.941.9467). We also recommend Rory Beca’s
Dava V Neck Tunic as a budget-friendly option ($100).
Agyness Deyn
It pleases us to receive inquiries regarding Agyness Deyn, our very first
Model of the Moment, who continues to ascend into supermodel stardom while earning kudos along the way for her cutting-edge personal style. Deyn marches to the beat of her own drum when it comes to her wardrobe selections. At the recent Elle Style Awards she exemplified our third pointer in this week’s WWWD Tips by pairing a funky print dress from House of Holland’s Stephanie & Axl collection with an
oversized blazer designed by Stephen Sprouse. While her jacket is vintage, there are a handful of pink blazers from J.Crew currently listed on eBay that will make great alternatives. Also, the Jonathan Saunders collection at
Topshop offers some great options for print dresses like the one Agyness is wearing. To further achieve Agyness’s look, order a pair of her Wolford
Suspender Tights ($51) and
Linda Farrow sunglasses ($300). On a final foot note, you can emulate Deyn’s Burberry boots by nabbing Dolce Vita’s
Hans Suede High Heel Ankle Booties in black ($87.50 on sale) —JESSICA AMENTO, additional reporting by Lily Huber

Bilson? Come on. I find it laughable that WWWD was "flooded" with inquiries about this dull blouse, pencil skirt, and black stilettos outfit. That's my go-to outfit for work when I can't be bothered (though I leave the skirt embellishments behind). And I agree with earlier post about her blouse looking like a Catholic school uniform. Or a railroad worker. As for Agy, I wouldn't go there, but at least it's not dull; the colors are super cool.

Okay some of you don't get that they are answering what the readers wanted to know which does not include every item the said person is wearing or include just you.

Rachel's pumps are the Louboutin Rolando's not Simple Pumps. These have a slight pinched toe on a platform. Ms. Portman looks divine**

I am SO sick of Agyness Deyn. Her outfit is awful.
Posted by: Lauren | 2008-02-29 13:43:55
Agyness looks like a damn fool.

AGYNESS LOOKS LIKE A ROCKSTAR. BILSON IS CHANNELING MARCIA BRADY....JEALOUS, JUST CUT ALL MINE OFF.

Rachel Bilson looks like a secretary...not a sexy secretary but a very dull one indeed. http://tampham.blogspot.com

Bilson's shirt needs to be ironed.

Not too sure how we feel about Natalie's dress. Looks a bit Wet Seal. Usually we really like what she wears though. Le sigh. Check out our site too! Yay! www.RunawayGallery.com

some parts r good, but i really hate what Natalie is wearing. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww luv her shoes tho. just the dress.

forgot to mention natalie... (sorry, I definitely would never want to snub your gorgeous shoes!) I love the shoes, and that they're vegan, but the rest of the outfit I'm not so crazy about... the all over cheetah print is not really working for me, and I couldn't tell if the outfit was comprised of a shirt and shorts or a shirt and skirt. I just don't like it that much. Also, a note to the moderators, shop-bop is out of the Dava V-Neck tunic, so that link doesn't work any more.

I love bilson's skirt, but the blouse reminds me of one I had to wear for my uniform in catholic school...it looks rather shapeless and boxy in a boring color. I also love what Agyness has going on here! To some it may appear too much... and this is definitley not a look for every day, I think she pulls it off well and the different elements blend pretty well. Its definitely not low key, but it is her personal style, and I agree with whoever said that Agyness has mastered the art of expressing her sense of self through her clothes. Sienna has all those style basics going on, the striped sweater, the blazer, the sunglasses, it all looks rather classic celeb hollywood.

I disagree on the Rachel statement, there is something really nice about seeing something simple pulled off well. I love what she's wearing.

Man, what's withe the Rachel Bilson obsession? She looks completely normal here, nothing special. Agyness is pushing it, there's something about this hipster look that screams "I'm trying too hard". Not a nice article WWWD :(

I am so amazed by agyness. there is something about her and fashion that just works. she seems to hold the secret fashion formula of knowing ones self+ wearing the right clothes for expressing ones self. A formula that a lot of us will spend our lives trying to figure out.

Love Natalie and Rachel. although I do agree that Rachel looks too twig-like.

Bilson and Portman are perfection.

I would have to agree to a point about Agyness - she is an attractive lady and she can pull off a lot of things that others cant. With this being said, i would love to find her in a more age appropriate outfit. Maybe a little more polished! :=)

Bilson has slowly crept up to being one of my favorites...thanks Rachel!
Posted by: MK | 2008-02-28 09:29:45
Pff, Bilson looks great, she is naturally very petite. and I want to be Sienna Miller when i grow up
Posted by: LovesGemma | 2008-02-28 09:15:17
Too skinny Miss. Bilson!!!!!!

I read that Agy was wearing those glasses because she had pink eye! poor thing! :) I love how she can pull it off. And what about those tights?? HOT!
Posted by: steph | 2008-02-28 08:16:26
if any other celebrity was wearing what agyness is decked out in, there wouldn't be nearly as much positive feedback.
Posted by: Jennifer H | 2008-02-28 08:11:29
Wow, the only way I could tell Sienna was not Kate Moss is by the layers in her hair. I think Natalie Portman is so boring but Bilson never goes wrong. Thanks!
Posted by: MEP | 2008-02-28 08:05:35
Agyness is a hot wreck! Bilson is perfect, as usual.
Posted by: Erock | 2008-02-28 05:42:52
agyness looks a mess – as ususal. as soon as she steps off the runway and hast to dress herself all on her own she never gets it right. love rachel bilson's style, though.
Posted by: fashiongirl | 2008-02-28 04:37:20
rachel always has perfect hair. marcia, marcia, marcia! haha.
