What Was She Wearing: Answers!

The reason is simple: it's the first official What Was She Wearing: Answers! installment of summer 2009! As always, we are pleased as punch to round up your requests and compile a quality quartet of darling and daring dressers whose enviable outfits not only piqued your interest, but who also provide a little warm-weather inspiration! Whether you want to know about Jessica Szohr's sassy skirt or Lindsay Price's relaxed romper, we hope that you enjoy our fashionable findings!



Jessica Szohr
While out on the town in New York City with on (and off) screen paramour Ed Westwick, Gossip Girl-star Jessica Szohr struck a nice balance with her sophisticated silhouettes and global graphics (or, as we like to call it, Tribal Punk). Her body-con BDG Patterned Convertible Skirt ($38) looked great with her aggressive and tough Hamilton Tall Buckle Wedges ($248) from Dolce Vita, or try Juicy Couture's Nakia Three Buckle Peep Toe Ankle Booties. She wisely tempered the statement-making selections with a loose black top; try BDG's Scoop Tank ($24) for a look-a-like alternative. Finally, she opted for a patterned purse, as well as minimal jewelry and make-up, for an undone yet pulled-together result.

Sienna Miller
Seen at the charity fundraiser for Hoping's Got Talent, Sienna Miller went for a tough-meets-luxury look by sporting a sequined midriff-baring top under Temperley London's Sphinx Jacket from the brand's 2010 resort collection. As evidenced by the emails we received regarding this piece, you are clearly smitten with her studded outerwear; we recommend Religion's Leather Jacket ($428) or Forever 21's Studded Short Sleeve Jacket ($39). She also picked sparkly soles, specifically Alejandro Ingelmo's Woven Metal Shoes ($387, on sale), but we also like Jeffrey Campbell's Jenny Sandals ($143). Miller smartly grounded these stand-out pieces with an inky pair of stovepipe skinny jeans, like Current/Elliott's The Legging Jean ($218). To finish off her look, she grabbed B. Romanek's Caiman Rock Star Clutch ($2195), which is an excellent exotic accessory, but for those of you who prefer more a budget-friendly or vegan alternative, try Aldo's Grezzana Bag ($20).

Kate Bosworth
Though Bosworth may have heterochromia (the technical term for difference in coloration of the irises) she certainly has a consistently chic eye when it comes to personal style. While at Heathrow Airport in London, the fashion-favorite wore a treasured Chloe top, Current/Elliott The Circle Vest ($178), Mulberry Buckle Boots ($249, on sale) and an H&M glittering mini skirt, which is sadly no longer available. Try Nation Limited's Maryland Burnout Scoop Shirt ($70) in Mist, Mink Pink's Girlfriend Vest ($74), and bebe's Stacked Sequin Mini Skirt ($59), respectively, for pieces that resemble Bosworth's selections. She added a little interest to her already stellar look with a few in-demand accessories; so much so, in fact, that her 3.1 Phillip Lim Pelle Bag and Louis Vuitton Sprouse Scarf are both sold out across the nation! If you are craving her purse you can always reach for 3.1 Phillip Lim's Beryl Clutch ($285, on sale) for a smaller satchel in a similar style, or try Juicy Couture's Fringe Padlock Messenger Bag ($158), which has a cross-body strap and swingy embellishments like Bosworth's piece. As for her scarf, try Delia's Isabella Floral Scarf ($20) or bebe's Leopard Crinkle Scarf ($19) for a bright and blooming look.

Lindsay Price
Lindsay Price looked picture perfect for a day of running errands in Los Angeles when she sported Rag & Bone's Teddy Jumpsuit ($450), Christian Louboutin's Barcelona Gladiator Platforms ($495), and Chloe's Mimosa Round Sunglasses ($235). Rompers are everywhere this season, so we recommend picking up a jumpsuit with an abbreviated hem, like ASOS' Oasis Glamourflage Playsuit ($72) or Josh Brody's Solid Romper ($133).
