The fashion world has a reputation for having “pack mentality” and, if one wants to generalize, industry members can have a rather homogeneous countenance at times. Despite appearances, we’d be hard pressed to find a single authoritative fashion figure who doesn’t celebrate individuality. Surely it’s clear we agree with this ethos and support personal style (even when it’s not necessarily something we’d wear) over conformity any day of the week. Happily, we get to show our support and appreciation for those thoughtful dressers out there with today’s story. Plucked from our MySpace community, these muses are prime examples of how to put your own spin on of-the-moment styles.

Yeah, I gotta roll with the last post. Printed or not, leggings as pants?! That was a no long before this incident happened. Even hot pants over it would have been substantial. But this? She needs a black bar over her eyes. first outfit = fail. most everything is the outfit is vintage.
the cowboy boots are vintage as well but i just found them at a goodwill in arizona.
if i still had them i wouldve sold them to you! I just got the exact pair of shoes as in the 6th picture but in brown and tey are the best sandals ever! they are jeffery campell's from urban outfitters and if you can afford them they are worth the splurge. ive been looking for a cute pair of cowboy boots similar to the ones in the third picture[the asian girl] Does anyone know where those are from, or anything similar? the first girl is cute. and i love the last girl (bottom right).
thefashionaddiction.blogspot.com Outfit 1 is not so great... for some real street style check out www.LNstyle.blogspot.com the shirt dress is on oaknyc.com the balenciaga-esque boots are from bakers. that girl has a fashion blog i've skimmed and she mentioned where she got them on there. they're super cheap, too! i think you all look so cute.....love the plaid coat look especially.....probably because i'm older and could wear this....that's my only criticism wwwd, at this age they can wear almost anything and can look pretty good, add 10 years and they would look a bit silly. you do have to evolve as you age and it would be nice to see more inspirational looks for us sexy sophisticates (hahaha) tooooo! x These outfits blow. Sadler, you still looks boring. the boots aren't necessarily balenciaga. they may be from urbanog.com--they have knock offs. Pic 1 is super famous, and i was there when it happened, love the good use of color (green, pink, black and gold). Pic 3 I dont think baggy jeans look good on girls at all, but the rest is pretty. Pic 5 is also fantastic but she needs a new haircut. pic 1 is ella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love love love the Jeremy Scott leggings in the first pic! and I have the sandals in the last pic, yes they are from urban, and they are super comfy! the asian girl looks totally adorable. the girl in the first pic just looks desperate for Mark to take her pic and post it. The shirtdress and the 4th outfit are OK (fit could be improved on both), but no muses here for me! They're all predictable and overdone -- looks like girls dressing for a photo to submit to WWWD than like they're showing off personal style. i am totally in love with that shirtdress! does anyone know where it's from !?!? the plaid jacket is forever 21 from about november, i know because i have it hah For Evi: I'm the girl wearing the plaid blazer, The boots are by bakers. -jessie

The plaid jacket girl looks very chic and I like the last girl's idea of the sandals, not so much those particular sandals themselves.
