Victoria Beckham Wore 2 Chill Outfits to Her Runway Show

The beauty of Victoria Beckham's namesake line, which made its F/W 17 debut at NYFW this morning, is that it's consistently filled with modern, tailored pieces that the designer herself would (and does) wear. The focus for the fall collection was a comfortable and powerful aesthetic. The notes left on each attendee's seat summed it up with this statement from Beckham: "The attitude is of freedom, of confidence, of power. It's an optimistic outlook." We expect that Beckham will be wearing the airy chiffon skirts, cozy sweaters, and statement-sleeve jackets on repeat. In fact, Beckham, naturally, wore two decidedly chill looks from the collection to today's show: a cozy cashmere turtleneck and wide-leg trousers, followed by a menswear-inspired white shirt, sheer skirt, and slouchy boots for her departure from the show venue.

Beckham was Instagramming up a storm backstage, but it was one post in particular that jumped out at us. She captured a pair of pointed-toe black leather flats with subtle studs and buckles. And given her newfound affinity for flat shoes, we predict she'll soon be wearing this sharp pair everywhere.

Check out the aforementioned shoes and Beckham's chill outfits, along with the collection in its entirety, below. While you're at it, shop Beckham's current collection.
