Party Heels

As you enter the holiday party season, you're going to want to put your best foot forward in terms of party shoes. As Fashion Director at Who What Wear, in the past few months I've come across a multitude of amazing heels, so finding the perfect pair to create a striking ensemble is going to be a breeze. Here are my top five picks for what to buy now.

Aldo Firolber Heels ($100)
Thanks to the pewter, python-embossed collar, these pumps are all vamp! They will look great with a pretty little camisole, a knee-length pencil skirt, and sheer black hosiery.

Nicholas Kirkwood Black Satin Heels ($1195, 646.559.5239)
These satin heels by Nicholas Kirkwood are begging to be your plus one at a black-tie event. The bow and jewel detail are dramatic, but the clear panels and slingback strap balance the look. My advice: keep it simple and structured on top, and let these be your statement piece.

Tory Burch Printed Pixie Open Toe Pumps ($395)
The 3-D floral detail on these peep-toes are a big conversation starter; plus, they'll work well in warmer and more tropical climates. Pair them with a cropped pantsuit to lend a sophisticated ensemble a playful finish.

Topshop Gem Crystal Covered Bow Courts ($110)
I love the retro '60s feel of these crystal-covered, bow-bedecked heels. I'd play it up with a sweet A-line organza dress.

Stuart Weitzman Stiletto Heels ($498) in Black Satin
The subtle matte satin is so chic and will work with a variety of different fabrics, especially tuxedo trousers or leather pants.--Laurie Trott
