It seems that plaid flannels aren't the only trend that fall's ode-to-grunge runways are heralding. Snug-fit leather jackets are making their comeback as the perfect counterpoint to floaty, feminine dresses and tunics. Kirsten Dunst has taken to this trend; in the above image she zipped one up over her diaphanous dress and black opaque tights for a tough/tender look. The sleek-shaped jacket can also be worn with more body-conscious garb, invoking Teddy Boys rather than Temple of the Dog. Rick Owens' petite shapes are Hollywood's leather of choice-just ask Ms. Lohan, we know she has a few. There's even a short-sleeved version, designed by Jenni Kayne, for those oh-so cold LA winters. It's an ideal cover-up for a winter al fresco brunch at the Chateau. Simply put, the return of the little leather is music to our ears.
