Anna Wintour, Kate Bosworth, and So Many More Are Taking a Stand Today

International Women's Day is hard to miss. Yes, we're technically about 50% of the population, but if you check social media this morning, it would be impossible not to notice that today's the day to celebrate women everywhere—what we do, who we are, what we're capable of, and why we matter. But one designer is sending a message that reverberates even further than March 8, and she's enlisted plenty of familiar faces to do so.

In partnership with the Tory Burch Foundation, Anna Wintour, Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Yara Shahidi, and more are reminding girls and women to embrace their own ambition in the video below. "Women were made to be ambitious," the film reinforces. "We'll dream big, without hesitation." #EmbraceAmbition.

It may be a straightforward reminder, but it's one that we believe deserves to be repeated—as does Hillary Clinton, who tweeted her support just yesterday. With that in mind, Burch is not only working with famous and inspiring women (and men—Hi, Jon Hamm and Chris Pine), but also through her namesake foundation, which works to foster women's own passions, especially in their careers. Along with the powerful PSA, the fashion industry leader is also encouraging all women to take a pledge to honor their own ambitious natures—not only on one day of the year—and will be donating 100% of the net proceeds to benefit the Tory Burch Foundation.
