Tiaras and Grunge Reign in Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign

Elyssa Goodman

It's safe to say the grunge trend isn't going away any time soon, especially given the gorgeous new campaign from Saint Laurent.

Shot by the brand's creative director Hedi Slimane entirely in black and white, the campaign stars models Steffi Soede and Signe Lunde in ensembles that combine uptown extravagance with downtown grunge, like overalls and camouflage with tiaras and floral dresses with sequined jackets. In fact, almost every look in the campaign features a tiara which, according to Fashionista, calls back to a tweet during the brand's Spring/Summer 2016 collection that "grunge tiaras" like those now pictured in the campaign, "can be worn with anything." The campaign, which you can also watch as a video slideshow on Saint Laurent's website, certainly makes a good case for it!
