You Probably Missed the Symbolism of Raven's Dress on The Bachelor

Erin Fitzpatrick

Both Vanessa and Raven made appearances on last night's "After the Final Rose" segment on The Bachelor, but the latter's dress piqued our interest after we learned about its hidden meaning. Raven explained on her Instagram that the green color was an homage to Hoxie's school integration in 1955, which was celebrated yesterday at the Arkansas State Capitol.

"There are two important lessons we can learn from remembering historical moments such as the story of the 1955 integration," she wrote on Instagram. "1.) Small communities such as Hoxie can bring change to the United States, & have a ripple effect across the world. 2.) We will always overcome adversity through diversity." Looking stylish while paying tribute to a historic moment? We couldn't think of a better combo.
