Update, August 25: Here it is. Taylor Swift released her new single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” late last night, and fittingly, the tune already has close to five million views on YouTube. With illustrated lyrics that flash across the screen, the video doesn’t hold back at all on what Swift’s been waiting to say after many months of silence. Take a listen below.
Update, August 23: We finally have confirmed details about Taylor Swift's mysterious new project. Swift posted several Instagrams on Wednesday morning revealing that her new album will be called Reputation and will be released on November 10. However, you don't have to wait long for the first single: It will be released tomorrow. Can't wait!

Update, August 21: Taylor Swift's social media absence didn't last long. After deleting everything from Instagram on Friday, she returned to the platform on Monday morning with a very cryptic video, perhaps suggesting that a new album is indeed in the works (and an edgy one at that). Originally posted on August 18: Taylor Swift is up to something. The singer just removed all posts from her Instagram, deleted her profile picture, and unfollowed everyone. She similarly wiped out her Twitter and Facebook accounts, although certain posts still remain as of Friday afternoon. The reason? Although nothing has been confirmed, some are speculating that Swift could be releasing new music soon. If true, it would be her first album since 1989, which debuted back in October 2014.
