Cher Coulter

Though Hollywood is certainly rife with stylists, there are only a few talented ladies whose work truly inspires and delights. Cher Coulter is definitely at the top of that illustrious list, thanks to her impeccable taste and prescient ability to pick the most memorable looks. Whether she's creating an exquisite red-carpet moment for Kate Bosworth or sending Sienna Miller off on a press tour with all the best Isabel Marant pieces, Coulter's clients are always the last word in chic. Plus, though she's got a full plate with her celeb-styling work alone, Coulter also manages to find time to collaborate on killer editorials. We loved the Vanessa Paradis spread she styled for Marie Claire earlier this spring and the modern-mod looks Coulter put together for Angela Lindvall in the current issue of C are terribly cool too.

Since Coulter's work never fails to excited and impress us, we figured that her off-duty selects might be just as thrilling. Happily we were right: Coulter's crazy about loads of lovely trends and gave us a heap of amazing options for her Stylist's Picks story. We learned that this super skilled Brit adores diverse items ranging from Julie Verhoeven prints (a fashion-insider favorite) to the complexion highlighting Topshop Makeup Skin Glow to the stunning early-sixties styles on the Rochas F/W 10 runway. Additionally, Coulter is quite keen on fall's many cropped pant styles and loves the look of monochromatic layers of color, much like the rouge-on-rouge ensemble Bosworth wore to a Vanessa Bruno dinner in LA recently (above). But enough from usÂ--it's time to move on to Coulter's perfectly amazing picks!

Topshop Pointelle Ragged Hem Crop Top ($28)
We love anyone who understands the importance of versatility when shopping, so we were delighted to see that Coulter included this simple cropped t-shirt in her picks. As suggested, it would look superb worn with a bright tank and a mini skirt, but we also appreciate the idea of layering it over a dress for more options.

Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau de Parfum Spray ($95)
Just the art-deco inspired bottle alone makes us want to buy Tom Ford's Black Orchid perfumeÂ--wouldnÂ't it look lovely on your dresser?Â--but apparently it smells even better than it looks. A combination of earthy notes like black truffle and exotic florals and hints of citrus, it's a statement fragrance and very sophisticated choice. No wonder Coutler's so loyal to this scent!

Isabel Marant Gold Cuff ($515, 212.219.2284)
Wondering how to wear one of Isabel Marant's stone-embellished cuffs? Take a styling tip from Coulter and pick up twoÂ--one on each arm. Coulter swears that by doing so, you'll give any outfit a dose of bohemian flair!

Isabel Marant Chandelier Earrings ($515, 212.219.2284)
Last season Marant gave us dangly feather earrings, but this time around she's created sturdier pieces like these multi-color chandelier earrings. Unlike some of Marant's other runway baubles, which primarily feature chunky crystals in clear or black, these drop earrings have an earthier appeal that Coulter adores.

Chanel Nail Polish ($25) in Black Velvet
Coulter's never met a Chanel nail polish she didn't like and is currently wearing the sold-out turquoise hue Nouvelle Vague for summer. Of course, as the weather starts to cool down she'll transition into something darker, like the brand's Black Velvet lacquer. This shade has a slightly matte, satin-like finish, which is just the sort of subtle texture we appreciate in a polish.

Equipment Hard Feelings Chiffon Blouse ($198)
Much like Coulter, we're big fans of both animal prints and Equipment button-ups, so we were elated when she mentioned this blouse. It's the perfect between-seasons piece since it's so sheer, but it will work also well into winter layered under your favorite jackets. Buy it now though: we have a feeling this print will sell out fast!

Giambattista Valli Silk Satin Toe Pumps ($907)
Coulter's footwear pick offers another way to execute the season's ladylike trend: kitten heels. These cap-toe pumps are perfectly classic in every way and the modest 77mm heel means you can actually walkÂ--maybe even a mile!Â--in these shoes and the neutral palette is perfect for everyday wear. Love the style but not interested in investing? Check out Versani's 2128 Slingbacks ($165) for a patent cap version at a more reasonable price.

Tom Ford Nicole Sunglasses ($390, 212.359.0300)
Tom Ford makes some seriously fabulous sunglassesÂ--you might remember we covered his cat-eye Nikitas earlier this yearÂ--like these Coulter-approved oversized, round frames. Available in black with smoke lenses, rose with brown gradient lenses, or brown with brown gradient lenses, these stylish sunglasses are embellished with a knot detail at the temples and have oodles of panache, making them a perfect pick!

Isabel Marant Monali Jeans ($210, 212.219.2284)
Like many of her fashion peers, Coulter is a complete and unapologetic Isabel Marant fiend and is completely obsessed with all of the designer's cropped pants. While there are red Leather Skinny Cropped Pants ($1945) and black Stretch Suede Pants ($1605) available online now, Coulter personally prefers these dark blue skinny jeans. "It's all about showing off the ankle and the bottom of the calf this season," she says, and Marant's many iterations are the perfect way to do just that.

Topshop Leopard Skinny Belt ($36)
Didn't think Coulter was telling the truth when she said she's the biggest leopard fan ever? Well the proof is in her final pick! The belt's skinny silhouette will give your go-to jeans just a touch of the season's must-have print so go ahead and order one today. (We just did!)
