White jeans can be a tricky thing to wear for those of us who are prone to coffee and red wine spills, but believe it or not, Old Navy has a solution. We're aware that the veteran retailer is a good source for affordable basics, so we were intrigued by Refinery 29's coverage of the brand's stain-repellent white jeans (coined the Stay-White collection). According to Old Navy's senior designer for women's denim, Melissa Morrin, "The pairs are treated with a stain-resistant wash, which makes liquids roll off the surface, magically, making the jeans perform well with many of your everyday liquid spills like coffee, juice, and wine; and combat more difficult stains after one wash."
The brand started with a Stay-White version of its most popular style, the Rockstar skinny jeans, and due to the positive reaction from shoppers, they just launched several new Stay-White styles for spring—cropped kick flares, boyfriend jeans, and micro flares, along with two plus-size iterations. And not only does each style in the collection ring in at under $50, they're all on sale right now. Get your stain-resistant white-denim fix below!
