Blogger Blair Eadie
When we're not spending countless hours reporting on the latest celebrity fashion and runway trends, you can often find us scouring the streets (ok, more like endlessly searching the internet) for real girls with real style. What does that mean exactly? Our neverending goal is to find women--wherever they may be--who aren't afraid to experiment with their wardrobes and consistently create inspiring ensembles that reflect their individual sensibilities! And while in the past we've taken to showcasing six well-dressed ladies in our monthly installment of Style Stalker, this time we've decided to mix things up a bit by turning the spotlight on just one truly noteworthy stalkee: Blair Eadie, 25, from San Francisco!
Aside from the fact that Eadie has clearly mastered the art of effortless layering--a styling trick she developed while adapting to San Francisco's famously fickle weather--she also is fearless about mixing bold colors and lively prints. Plus, and this is a big one, she's got impeccable taste in accessories! Whether she's wearing a aqua gingham shirt over a pink button-down--notice how she knotted both at the waist?--paired with an eye-popping floral skirt, creating an of-the-moment outfit with two different types of stripes, or finishing her ensemble with loads of bracelets and statement-making necklaces, the resulting looks are always thoughtfully-constructed and visually intriguing. Interested to know more about her day-to-day wardrobe, we asked Eadie to give us the details on today's featured outfits and asked her a few questions about her style icons, favorite places to shop, and the one go-toe piece in her closet. Hope you enjoy!--Jessica Baker

Blair Eadie Q & A
Describe your personal style in two sentences or less.
I am often described as a modern day Audrey Hepburn with a splash of color. My East Coast upbringing gives my style a preppy undertone, but my recent home on the West Coast has me experimenting with an edgier vibe.
How does the city you live in inspire your day-to-day style?
Living in San Francisco I have been forced to master--or attempt to master--the art of layering. The weather here has drastic shifts, so third pieces dominate my closet now. While most people ditch their heels once they make SF their new home, I refuse to give them up.
List some of your favorite current trends and why you appreciate them/how you are wearing them.
I am forever enamored with prints and patterns--Diane Von Furstenberg has always been a favorite of mine--so I have been gravitating towards bold, multi-stripe pieces this season. It is such a fun way to dress up a casual look or create an eclectic ensemble. I am also really loving tonal color-on-color; it's a refreshing change to true color-blocking. I especially love it when it is done with mixed materials to give the look even more depth.
Who are some of your style icons and why?
I have not had a long-standing style icon, but in recent time it has been the ever-so-sophisticated Joanna Hillman [Harpers Bazaar's Senior Fashion Market Editor]. I am constantly inspired by the way she plays with so many silhouettes and constantly re-mix pieces for a new look.
Name one go-to piece in your closet and why.
Practical has never been a word to describe me, so the fact that my "go-to" piece is an oversized leopard coat makes perfect sense. The cocoon shape enables it to be the perfect throw-on, while the print adds an element of glamour to any outfit.
