Street style stars and photographers are about as common as celebrities and the paparazzi today, but unlike their Hollywood counterparts, this wasn’t the case a decade ago. While street style photography did exist back then, there were far fewer subjects, and those who were around were responsible for blazing the trail for the decade to come.

The French editor in chief of French Vogue (who’s been at the magazine since 2000) has been a longtime favorite of fashion week photographers. Known then for being sleek and simple, her style hasn’t much changed.
