The Founders of SoulCycle Have High Fashion Aspirations

Jessica Schiffer

The SoulCycle ethos is that they’re not just in the business of changing bodies, but changing lives too, and it appears that changing the fashion game is high on their list of priorities as well. A recent interview on The Coveteur with the workout's founders, Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice, reveals as much, with Rice pointing out that they already design 14 collections every year—yes, really—and are inspired by everything from the runway to festivals like Coachella.

Is this a sign that clothing lines developed by workout gurus are the way of the future? Well, if these two have anything to say about it, it is—and they certainly have a solid track record of success. Asked how they see the line growing, the duo boldly responded:

“We would love to do a collaboration with Ricardo Tisci. That’s no joke! We would love to collaborate with Alexander Wang and Jeremy Scott. Let Jeremy know we're trying to find him!"

Clearly, these ladies mean business, and with athleisure seemingly here to stay, we have a feeling many will hop on board.
