Color Wars: Solange's 25 Best Outfits Of All Time

Aside from the Great Elevator Incident of 2014, Solange Knowles is a woman celebrated (at least in our circles) for her bold and vivacious sense of personal style. The younger Knowles sister has seemingly never met a color she didn’t like, and she inspires us all by her brave approach to mixing and matching tones that otherwise seem like they wouldn’t necessarily coordinate well together.

Today, in honor of the style maven’s 28th birthday, we’re taking a look back at some of Knowles’ best looks of all time. She tends to favor designer brands like 3.1 Phillip Lim (who she wore to this year’s now-famed Met Gala), fellow prints-lover Mary Katrantzou,  Acne, Clover Canyon, and other modern, trés colorful labels.
