The Editor-Tested App That Makes Selling on eBay Insanely Easy
Nothing brings me greater joy than when I can make an informed and impassioned recommendation, whether it’s where to get the best avocado toast (don’t judge, you know it’s amazing), which airlines have the best flash deals, or, in the case of today’s story, the most genius, efficient, effortless app to download. That’s right: I’ve found a new app for you, so thumbs on the ready!
It’s called Shyp. Though the broader purpose of the app is to ship your items (the company picks up, packages, and sends items at the lowest possible cost), today I’m getting granular and focusing on the eBay component to the app. If you’re like me, selling your discarded clothes and accessories sounds like a grand idea—until you consider how inconvenient the process of actually getting a box, taping it up, printing out a shipping label, and finding a somewhat close USPS is all during your very short lunch break or on your precious weekend. I’ve often opted for swinging by a consignment store that pays far less than an eBay sale would be solely for convenience’s sake—but no more, friends; no more.
I had used Shyp a month or so ago to send a handful of things to our company’s office in Los Angeles. The process was seamless and quite fast. So last week when I sold a pair of sneakers and needed to get them out in less than 48 hours, I turned to Shyp. All I had to do was punch in my eBay login information, click “new shipment” and “eBay sale,” and there they were—my sneakers, ready for the sending. A courier was at my office in less than 10 minutes, and that was that. I got a notification that Shyp was updating my eBay account with tracking information and ship notifications, and I got paid in only a few days. Insane, right? Even better: There is usually a $5 pickup fee for Shyp, but if you’re an eBay seller, they waive the fee.
So that's that. If you want to make money and want it to be an easy process, you know what to do. In the meantime, scroll down for popular fashion items on eBay right now!
