Dries Van Noten's S/S 13 show was a study in contrasts: madras blouses competed with floral skirts, a ruffled blouse was paired with baggy pants, and casual plaid lived on sheer, floaty fabrics. The result, however, was harmonious and utterly stylish--a procession of sophisticated ensembles that paid homage to the '80s grunge era, but was decidedly feminine too.
