10 Leggings You'll Get So Many Compliments On
Surprise, surprise—leggings are still just as popular as ever, which means for those of us who are fond of the trend, our leggings drawers are pretty much overflowing. No matter how many pairs of the versatile sportswear item you own, there's no denying that you have a select few that you always reach for—the ones you even contemplate pulling out of the hamper to wear despite sweating in them during hot yoga the night before (just me?).
With that said, I thought I would take the time to talk about a few (or 10) of my all-time favorite leggings. From the black leggings I cannot live without to a few pairs that are a little more daring but definitely worth the risk, the leggings ahead are always conversation starters, whether I am in a workout class or grabbing a coffee on the weekend. The combination of their flattering qualities and unique details are really what bring in the praise, and I have no doubt they will for you too.
In case you aren't as in love with the leggings sitting in my athleisure drawer as I am, I also threw in a handful of the leggings that are currently on my wish list. In total, there are 20 leggings here for you to shop, so surely you'll love something.
Go on to shop the leggings that get me so many compliments.
10 Leggings You'll Get So Many Compliments On
Lululemon Wunder Under Pant ($118)
I can guarantee you that no matter where you wear these leggings, you'll have people asking you where you got them. In addition to the eye-catching mesh cutouts, you really can't go wrong with a pair of Lululemon leggings. I've worn and washed these so many times, and they still look brand-new.
The Upside Confetti Print Fitness Leggings ( $109 ) ($52)
For those days when I am feeling a little more festive, I reach for these floral leggings. I also have the matching sports bra that goes with them, making for the perfect hot yoga outfit. These are extremely lightweight and moveable, and people always have so many great things to say about the print.
P.E Nation Fall In Legging ($140)
At first, you might be thinking What the heck do I wear with these? But the truth is, besides my black leggings, these are one of my most versatile pairs. I easily pair white, black, and gray tanks with them and call it a day. A lot of people still aren't super familiar with this brand, so it's always fun to answer people's inquiries about who makes them (which happen every time I wear them).
Tory Sport Chevron Leggings ($125)
In case you didn't know, Tory Sport makes some pretty incredible leggings. I love this navy chevron pair for working out but also for wearing out and about on the weekends. People typically comment on the soft fabric and striking red detail on the bottom. The waistband on these hits me in a really flattering place and doesn't dig into my sides.
Outdoor Voices 7/8 Tri-Tone Warmup Leggings ($90)
Outdoor Voices has some of the cutest sets around, and I particularly love the soft heathering and fresh colors te brand's leggings come in. This ballet-pink pair is a must-have. I was nervous when I ordered it, but everything from the seams to dual tones to the rise of the waist is perfect, and the positive comments from strangers prove it.
Sweaty Betty Power Matte Union Jack 7/8 Leggings ( $110 ) ($55)
On me, these are not as cropped, since I'm a shorty, but I love them all the same. The subtle black angular lines not only flatter your legs but also catch the light in a really pretty way. Not to mention they are insanely comfortable (are you catching the theme here?) and easy to style with a multitude of tops.
Alo High Waist Moto Leging ($114)
White leggings are definitely a little more daring, but Alo does a great job of designing pairs that still offer as much coverage as possible. I particularly love these because the moto detailing distracts from the shocking white color while also creating the lines necessary to flatter your body. Everyone always comments on how they have never seen white leggings as flattering as these, so I highly recommend you give the trend a try.
Varley Walnut Copper Red Legging ( $120 ) ($84)
Last but not least, these rich burgundy leggings from Varley. Varley's leggings feel unlike any leggings I've worn before—they are the perfect combination of supportive and breathable, and the mesh panels on the side of the leg offer a modern touch to this classic color.
The color of these is so striking.
River Island Plus Basic Leggings ($16)
Because you can never have too many black pairs.
