Confirmed: These Are the 3 Most Iconic Parisian Pieces
Sézane has long been our go-to for all things French-girl style, but now the retailer is making it even easier to nail that coveted Parisian look. Yesterday, Sézane launched La Liste, a permanent collection of timeless, iconic, and best-selling pieces inspired by the items founder Morgane Sézalory (and all Parisian women) wear every day.
When we asked Sézalory to narrow down the collection to only three quintessential French-girl pieces, she revealed her favorites: the long-sleeve lace blouse, high-waisted jeans, and white leather sneakers.
As for the blouse she designed, she explained why it's a key piece: "The Ninon Blouse ($120) is a classic but never boring top that is feminine, romantic, and effortless," she told Who What Wear. "The ecru version is truly timeless and works in every season and style—casually with jeans or more dressy with a leather skirt. It's an iconic piece that a French girl would turn to time and time again."
The 1967 Jeans ($125) also nabbed a rightful spot on her top three list. "We call them the Le Brut Sexy because you look and feel instantly sexy and French when you put them on!" Sézalory told us. "We used a bit more structured denim (not as stretchy), a high waist, and cutoff hems to accentuate the silhouette to the fullest."
And last but not least, Sézalory told us that the Jack Sneakers ($145) are "iconic for French-girl style. They're comfortable and easy to walk everywhere in but still feminine and beautiful." Excuse us while we add all three items to cart pronto.
