The Cool-Girl Brand That's Doing Really, Really Well This Year

Allyson Payer

You may have noticed Saint Laurent's steady rise in popularity over the past few years, and now there's proof of the brand's growth. As reported by Fashionista, sales are up 37% on a reported basis for the third quarter of 2015, and up a whopping 32% in brick-and-mortar stores. In fact, sales have steadily been on the rise since 2012, when Hedi Slimane came on as creative director of the fashion house and rebranded it as the trend-setting favorite we've come to know and love.

In other good news, Gucci is also benefiting from a little rebranding, thanks to its newly appointed creative director, Alessandro Michele. Given the abundance of Gucci on street style stars this year, and with the brand's sales up 9% on a reported basis this quarter, we're predicting a similarly steady rise for Gucci.
