Rag & Bone Skipped the Runway This Season—Here's Why

Allyson Payer

Rag & Bone is the latest brand to stray from the typical fashion week runway show format to instead show its F/W 17 collection in a different way. The reason? For the veteran brand's 15th anniversary, founder and creative director Marcus Wainwright opted to present the collection in a series of portraits (shot by Glen Luchford and Frank Lebon with a vintage Polaroid camera) featuring more than 60 influencers, models, musicians, artists, and more, including the likes of Kate Moss, Léa Seydoux, Joan Smalls, Keri Russell, Leandra Medine, Irene Kim, and Amber Valletta. They each styled their own looks for the portraits, and many were on hand for last night's exhibition (which will be open to the public this weekend), along with the likes of Anna Wintour.
