Now You Can Design Your Own Prada Heels: Here's How
If you're among the legions of ladies who have ever dreamed of owning a pair of custom Prada heels, then you are truly in luck. The Italian luxury house just launched an amazing customizable program where you can design your own pair from (literally) the ground up—including all kinds of details from the height of the stiletto to the finish on the leather.
WIth the new program, which will be available in all brick-and-mortar Prada boutiques from now on, shoppers can create their own Décolleté peep toe heel or pump, one of Prada's most classic designs. There are a vast array of shoe silhouettes available, including an extra-pointy toe, a more classic pointed toe, peep toe, round toe, platform, and single-sole options, as well as a pointed toe shape that also has a metallic heel.
Once you've picked your shape, you can then choose your heel height, from kitten to high, with a maximum measurement of 4.3 inches. On to the finish: from satin to patent leather, and then the color—a whopping 27 shades will be offered in total. You can then choose the color sole you want (nude, black, or Prada's signature pastel blue), and even the color box you want your shoes to arrive in.
The total price for it all: a minimum of $745, which is nothing to sneeze at, but when you consider that no one else will own your unique Prada creations—it doesn't seem too unreasonable, right?
