Prada Just Created the Most Over-the-Top "Ugly" Shoes Yet

Erin Fitzpatrick

It seems like more and more designers are jumping on the "ugly" shoe bandwagon every single day. Gucci is advocating for the socks-with-sandals look, while Christopher Kane is a fan of fur-trimmed Crocs. Now, Prada is throwing its hat into the ring too: The brand's fall 2017 collection at Milan Fashion Week showcased over-the-top, multi-colored furry boots and crazy fur flats—some with extra embellishment as the cherry on top. In other words, Prada's motto may as well be: Go big or go home.

As attention-grabbing as the shoes were, they weren't the only statement pieces on the runway today. Miuccia Prada paired the shoes with equally dramatic coats and feathered skirts, as well as quirky accessories like furry belts and shoulder bags. Now the only question is: Would you wear this Prada-approved trend IRL?
