Fashion History Buffs Will Want to Binge This TV Show Next
If you've already finished binge-watching Netflix's The Crown, which chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth II, we have good news. We found your next favorite period piece that follows another very important (and very stylish) queen of England. Victoria, PBS's new drama series about the epic life of Queen Victoria, will be taking over Downton Abbey's old Sunday night time slot. For all you fashion history buffs, we can guarantee this window into 18th-century royal style will be right up your alley. If you need a little convincing, just check out the exclusive video Marie Claire got its hands on for a first look at the series as well as interviews from stars Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes, who play Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, respectively. Get ready to swoon over their romance just as much as their wardrobe.
Scroll on to watch the sneak preview, and tune into PBS's Masterpiece on January 15 to see the premiere of Victoria.
