La La Land Just Tied Titanic for This Major Record

The 2017 Oscars are just a month away. If you can hardly wait, we have something to help tide you over: The nominations were announced today, and one film is already making movie history.

As Vanity Fair pointed out, La La Land just tied the record for the most Oscar nominations for a single film. It received a whopping 14 nods in categories including Best Actress for Emma Stone, Best Actor for Ryan Gosling, and Best Director for Damien Chazelle. It tied the record with 1997's Titanic and 1951's All About Eve. In other words, you probably need to re-watch La La Land at least a few more times before next month.
