Olivia Palermo Dressed Up Ballet Flats in the Chicest Way Possible
It's no secret that ballet flats are one of our wardrobe staples. We wear them with jeans and a tee on the weekend, trousers and a blouse for work, and so on. But what about for a formal event? While you may not have considered the style for fancier occasions in the past (often going with heels or strappy sandals), Olivia Palermo showcased exactly how you can dress up ballet flats.
The style setter attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic over the weekend in a Chelsea28 + Olivia Palermo dress and a Paige belt, completing the look with (now sold-out) French Sole silver ballet flats. What makes this style work for a dressed-up event is the color—the metallic shade feels very high-end. The flowy, printed dress also elevates the overall ensemble.
