The majority of shows no longer take place at the “tents” at Lincoln Center and have been migrating to galleries downtown for seasons. The opening of the large, new venue Spring Studios on Varick Street may be the beginning of a complete migration, with such tent-stalwarts as Michael Kors and Diane Von Furstenberg showing there instead.
