Nike's Latest Video Features an 86-Year-Old Female Badass

Adrianna Barrionuevo

Nike's motivating series of Unlimited ads continues to inspire with its latest star, 86-year-old Sister Madonna Buder. Unlimited Youth shows a day in the life of the "Iron Nun" as she starts her day off with prayer and continues to hit the pavement for a run followed by a swim and some cycling. Yup, that's an Ironman: 2.24-mile swim, 112 miles of biking, and a 26.22-mile run.

At 86, she's seriously impressive, but the craziest part is that Sister Madonna has already completed 45 Ironman competitions, and her first one was at age 65! Can you say badass? Eleven years ago at age 75, she became the oldest woman ever to compete in the race, and at 82 she set the record for the oldest competitor. In the commercial, the narrator asks her if she’s ready to take a nap, to which she boldly replies with, "I don’t think so." #Goals.
