Finding the perfect lingerie for Valentine's Day is a tricky task, but there are some lovely options out there. In my opinion, men aren't really interested in overly complicated lingerie, so I suggest going for something with a borrowed-from-the-boys twist-perhaps an oversized oxford or a pajama shirt-worn over more feminine pieces, like a classic black lace bra and panty set. I'm a huge fan of everything Elle Macpherson does for her intimates line, so in addition to the black lace set, I also adore this lace bra and panty, which comes in a stunning raspberry shade perfect for Valentine's Day. Also take a look at Belabumbum's Copacabana collection; the bras are beautiful and comfortable, plus they come in great hues like ruby, latte, and antique white. If you're not quite as traditional and are looking for an unexpected pop of color, check out Deborah Marquit's line; I love the selections in neon green and purple. Another menswear-inspired option is an oversized garter tank, like the one Kiki de Montparnasse makes. If you don't want to invest in that exact piece, it's easy to approximate the look by simply pairing a slouchy tank with an understated garter belt. Whatever you do, just remember that you don't need lots of bells and whistles to create the ideal look-he just wants to see you!
