First of all, I'd just like to say that I'm so excited that you guys are asking about color! As for your question, let's start with footwear. Right now, I really love highlighter yellow shoes; there are just so many incredible options on the market. You can go for a classic peep-toe pump, a platform heel, or a pointy stiletto, plus there are tons of sandals out there too, including everything from flat thongs to heeled t-strap styles. While you're totally right about wearing any of these shoes with black or white, I like neon yellow with less-expected hues, like camel or lavender. If you're not entirely comfortable with these colors, start by just trying a classic top in camel (like a striped sweater or v-neck) or lavender (maybe a slim oxford or super-soft pullover) with your favorite boyfriend or straight-leg jeans. If you're looking for a slightly fancier look, feel free to pair your bright yellow shoes with a camel or lavender dress. Of course if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can always wear both colors in one outfit; a camel top looks amazing with a lavender skirt or skort! Now, on the off chance you're not a camel or lavender girl, I thought of some other complementary color duos that would look quite cool. You could pair neon pink platform sandals or peep-toe heels with chambray or denim. Bright orange pointy pumps or flat sandals would look amazing with navy or pale blue. Electric chartreuse or green wedges or ballet flats work with your go-to gray separates. Or for the floral-print loving people out there, you can style your vivid patterns with cobalt platforms or strappy sandals. Whatever you choose, you're sure to look of-the-moment with your neon shoes and your non-basic color combinations!
