This Is the Most Desirable Place to Work in Fashion

WWD recently conducted a survey asking the question, What is the most desired company to work for in fashion? The survey lived on WWD’s social media networks earlier this year and was sent directly to students in leading fashion and merchandising schools in the U.S. and Europe, garnering nearly 2500 responses. WWD proceeded to rank the top 25 responses, and the company earning the top spot, with a hefty 11.66% of the vote, was Chanel, in both the social media and student surveys. Rounding out the top five from the social media poll were LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton at number two, followed by Christian Dior, Alexander Wang, and Diane von Furstenberg. Many of the responses suggest that the reason behind their enthusiasm for Chanel are the iconic Karl Lagerfeld and the inspiring Gabrielle Chanel herself. It goes without saying that the popularity of the legendary fashion house's breathtaking creations may have something to do with it as well. Head over to WWD to see which companies made it in to the top 25, and keep scrolling to shop pieces that would impress Karl Lagerfeld (or any boss, for that matter).
