Silver screen style: Variety reports that a new documentary about legendary shoe designer Manolo Blahnik is in the works. The movie, dubbed Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards, will feature lots of fashion industry heavy hitters, including Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, and more. Michael Roberts, who worked closely with Grace Coddington on her memoir, will serve as director. “Having known Manolo for over 30 years, I can say he is a multifaceted intellectual and romantic whose engaging mind and ingenious work is made for entertaining cinema,” Roberts told Variety.
