In an achievment that pretty much everyone saw coming, fashion star and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o has finally landed her first-ever cover of American Vogue. After her stunning turn in last year's 12 Years A Slave, Nyong'o has taken the fashion world by storm, regularly turning out incredibly strong red carpet looks—with the help of her talented stylist, Micaela Erlanger—and has generally charmed the pants off everyone within a 10-mile radius of her.
We're surprised it took this long for Vogue to put her on the cover, but we understand that the whole KimYe cover coup probably took precedent for much of 2014 thus far. Nyong'o looks characteristically adorable on the cover, and the rest of the Mikael Jansson-helmed shoot (which you can see at Vogue.com) is incredibly beautiful. The star wears everything from Rodarte to J.Crew to Jonathan Saunders.
