Almost Everyone at This Fashion Party Wore the Same Shoes
Heels are a seasoned staple of just about every red carpet in the world, but last night, when Louis Vuitton took over the Louvre Museum in honor of the new Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons line, the guests donned a different shoe style altogether.
Everyone from Chloë Sevigny to Michelle Williams bucked classic heels in favor of comfortable ankle boots or booties instead. Williams wore black pointed-toe boots with a lingerie-inspired lace and blush printed dress. Sevigny opted instead for a pair of green snakeskin boots and a belted leather skirt.
Other party attendees included Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Aniston (who were two of the only guests who stuck to heels), Miranda Kerr, Chiara Ferragni, Jennifer Connelly, Camila Coelho, Bae Doona, and Adèle Exarchopoulos.
In a rare moment of cohesion, it seems like Hollywood was in synch with its footwear. But with ankle boots being seen on so many A-listers lately, it isn't a surprise that heels didn't make this guest list.
