In case Tom Ford’s recent ready-to-wear show in Los Angeles (or Dior’s plans to show its upcoming cruise collection here in May) wasn’t enough to convince you of SoCal's fashion cred, Nicolas Ghesquiere has made it undeniable, with today’s announcement that Louis Vuitton Resort will debut in Palm Springs. The brand confirmed to WWD that they will descend on the Coachella-famous hotspot on May 6, just days before the Dior Cruise show on May 9.

That’s a high-fashion double-whammy if we’ve ever seen one, and we won’t even try to conceal our excitement. With our headquarters based in Los Angeles, we’ve long known how well the area lends itself to fashion! We’re simply thrilled that the rest of the fashion world is finally catching on.
