Gisele, as seen above, showed this look just last week, as she selected a wee posy patterned dress for a jaunt around Greenwich Village. Kate Bosworth was an early bloomer as she showed off a dainty floral dress early this summer. Helena Christensen, above far right, wore this look we love for a lunch in the West Village at Sant Ambroeus. Her partner in dine that day? None other than Kate Bosworth-apparently these friends share their flower power.
While most mini floral wares have already sold out, if you didn't scoop up a romantically retro piece try Topshop. There you'll find the dress Keira's wearing, above left, which is the store's cotton Summer Flower Print Maxi Dress ($80, topshop.com). Above, middle, is another Topshop option, though this Ditsy Puff Sleeved Maxi Dress is actually from their new vintage Archive* section ($370, topshop.com).
*If you haven't heard about the Archive, check it out immediately, as this might be the most exciting thing that's happened to e-commerce in ages. It features genius vintage pieces mainly from the 60's and 70's-think colorfully patterned shift dresses and sweet, batik print maxi dresses. There's also a section devoted to boldface British designers like Biba and Mary Quant. The in-house, Topshop team sourced pieces like a 1960's Biba, pink floral print, maxi dress and a mini shirtdress with long sleeves from Mary Quant. Finally amazingly sourced, smartly edited, well-researched, vintage clothes are available online-thank you Topshop, thank you.
