The Little Boy in This Moschino Barbie Commercial Is EVERYTHING

Elyssa Goodman

So you won't be able to get your hands on Moschino Barbie (it's completely sold out!), but you can take in the wonder of the commercial, which features a totally adorable fauxhawked little boy we just can't get over. And he's the first-ever boy in a Barbie commercial!

Technically, the video is a "fauxmercial" created by Mattel with Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott leading the way, BBC News reports. (It's hosted on Moschino's YouTube page, not Barbie's). It parodies the '80s Barbie commercials of Scott's youth.

The idea of the little boy came from Scott himself, who said, "When I dreamt up the concept for the Moschino Barbie fauxmercial, I felt it was natural to have a little boy representing for all the little boys like myself who played with Barbies growing up," he wrote. "Barbie was more than a toy; she was a muse for me."
