This New Levi's Collab Is Pure Genius

What do you get when you mix a couple of stylish denim experts with one of the most beloved purveyors of blue jeans? The brand-new collaboration between Jean Stories and Levi's, of course.

Florence Kane and Jane Bishop are the magazine-editors-turned-entrepreneurs behind Jean Stories, a website about (you guessed it) all things denim. In between asking tastemakers about their favorite blues for the website, the duo worked with the American label on a limited-edition capsule collection. Launching today, it consists of reinventions of two popular styles: the 711 Skinny and the 721 High Rise Skinny.

Kane put her own spin on the former, opting for a dark blue hue and frayed hems. Bishop tweaked the high rise version by choosing a lighter blue wash and adding subtle ripped details on the back pocket. "I decided to use my oldest, most loved pair of Levi's I had since I was a teenager as my inspiration," Bishop told us about her iteration of the 721 High Rise Skinny. "They were boot-cut jeans, but I re-created the wash, fade, and color of them."
