Lena Dunham Wore the Season's Biggest Trend at the DNC

Erin Fitzpatrick

We've seen the off-the-shoulder trend crop up everywhere this summer. Kate Middleton donned the look for a royal dinner. Olivia Palermo has worn it for nearly every occasion under the sun. Emily Ratajkowski wore it on vacation. And now we can add yet another stylish star to the list: Lena Dunham, who wore the off-the-shoulder trend to tonight's Democratic National Convention.

For her speech at the event in Philadelphia, Dunham chose to wear Gabriela Hearst's Adriana Dress in Ivory ($898). Not only is the dress perfectly in line with summer's biggest trend, but it's also an incredibly chic choice. The midi length is conservative and sophisticated, and the slits provide a fashion-girl twist. Plus, the stark white color feels fresh and summery. Oh, and did we mention that the dress is still available and on sale? You better hurry—it's bound to sell out in no time!
