Gigi Hadid Ditched Jeans for Spring's "Ugly" Pant Trend

Being a trendsetter herself, you can always count on Gigi Hadid to be one of the first to give the freshest trends a try. Last night in London was no exception. Hadid ditched her usual uniform for the "ugly" pant trend that a slew of brands is endorsing, and it's one that keeps popping up all over fashion week street style: khaki. Khaki pants (aka this season's jeans) feel so unexpected because they've been so passé for so many years, but now they're everywhere. Everyone from Alexander Wang to Reformation to Mango is stocking them for spring, so we weren't surprised to see Hadid put her own spin on the trend.

Hadid wore a pair of loose, high-waisted Balenciaga khakis with a white tee tied up to show a bit of skin, a fuzzy cream-colored coat, and sock ankle boots to match the pants. Like the khaki pants trend or not, you can't argue with the fact that it's the most forward way to transition from winter to spring in 2017.

Keep scrolling to see Gigi Hadid's look, and shop the khaki pants we're coveting.
